Denise Russo

Denise Russo began her career as an operating room assistant at the Veteran Hospital in Madison Wisconsin in 1974. She has been performing Vascular Ultrasound since 1977 and received her training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. She obtained her certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist in 1988. Denise has been involved in all aspects of Vascular Ultrasound including management, clinical research and was a member of the faculty at Rush University's Vascular Ultrasound program in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked exclusively in the area of phlebology(vein) ultrasound for the past 5 years. Her responsibilities include providing detailed ultrasound exams that determine the location and severity of the venous insufficiency. She also provides ultrasound guidance for the physicians performing endovenous laser ablation and sclerotherapy.
